Governance.

Grangemouth Community Sports Trust is a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), established to deliver sustainable, inclusive, and community-led management of Grangemouth Stadium. As part of our commitment to transparency and accountability, this section provides information about our governance framework, including details of our Board of Trustees and access to key organisational documents.

The Trust is governed by a dedicated Board of Trustees who bring a broad range of experience in sport, finance, community engagement, and facility management. Together, they oversee the strategic direction, financial sustainability, and community impact of the organisation.

We are committed to good governance in line with the principles set out by the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) and strive to operate in a manner that reflects our values of integrity, inclusivity, and community benefit.

David Ovens

David is Chair of Grangemouth Community Sports Trust and Managing Director of Archangel Investors. He has a background in corporate finance, investment, and business growth, with a strong commitment to aligning investment with social impact. He also serves as Chair of Scottish Athletics, reflecting his involvement in sport governance.

Colin Hutchison

Colin is the CEO of Scottish Athletics and a trustee of Grangemouth Community Sports Trust. He has over 16 years’ experience in Scottish sport and has led key initiatives including the Club Together programme and the national athletics facilities strategy. Under his leadership, the sport has seen record club membership and increased public investment.

Linzie Marsh

Linzie is a trustee of Grangemouth Community Sports Trust and Pensions, Risk & Insurance Manager at Forth Ports Group. She brings expertise in financial and operational risk management and has a long-standing personal involvement in athletics. She is Chair of Pitreavie AAC and has over 40 years of connection with Grangemouth Stadium.

He brings expertise in leisure operations, business development, and income generation, with a focus on improving access to sport and physical activity across communities.
